13 Moons, Life in the Northeast pre-Columbus

Join us as Mike gives a detailed narrative of the Northeastern Woodland Native Americans before the arrival of Columbus. Travel with us over a one-year time period through the forest paradise they had made of their homeland.

Afterwards, have your questions answered by Mike as he knaps a stone point out of local flint.

Nature on the Page Series

Join journal and landscape artist Jan Blencowe and nature writer/amateur naturalist Katherine Hauswirth in a 3-session series on nature journaling and nature writing.

All sessions will allow time for learners to be in and reflect on nature at Bushy Hill, as well as try out these expressive arts and share them (as desired) with the class.

Seasonal Guided Hike Series Workshop

We are excited to welcome back Karen Monger and Family, to conduct a series of seasonal hikes and presentations on foraging and more.

There are three scheduled dates that they will be sharing and educating on.

They will take us through some of our wooded property and help us identify and understand the many varieties of edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms around us.
